Important Update for Customers of Sindaco Ltd/Fanfare

To date, the Commission has arranged (with Cello Aviation) for the return home of 141 customers left stranded in Bulgaria on 20th and 27th of July and further flights have been arranged (with Aer Lingus) over the coming weeks to return the remaining 59 customers on completion of their holidays. Some people made their own way home. Many other customers never left Ireland. To date we have received 77 claims and we are processing these in the order of date received.

Statement by the Commission for Aviation Regulation on Ryanair Flight Cancellations

Arising from the current strike action affecting Ryanair flights, passenger rights are protected under European legislation and it is important that all passengers are aware of their entitlements. The Commission for Aviation Regulation expects that Ryanair will send all affected passengers information about their rights and entitlements.

Important Notice regarding Deadline for Sindaco Limited T/A Fanfare Claims

Customers are required to make a claim within 60 days of the date from which the tour operator or travel agent failed or was unable to meet their contractual obligations to the customers. Customers are encouraged to make claims promptly with such proof of loss as is available to them at that time. If the Commission requires further proof of loss it will request that from customers.

Sindaco Limited customers currently in Bourgas: At the moment some customers are waiting for return flights to Dublin. Cello Aviation has obtained an aircraft to operate from Bourgas later today.

Friday, 20 July 2018: Sindaco Limited, trading as Fanfare, Irish Film Tours and Buzz Travel is unable to fulfil its obligations to its customers and the Commission for Aviation Regulation has withdrawn both its travel agent and tour operator licences.

Wednesday, 11 July 2018: Premier Irish Golf Tours Limited, trading as Premier World Travel and Premier Irish Golf Tours, has ceased trading.

Air Traffic Control Strikes at French and German Airports 23rd June 2018

Passengers scheduled to fly into or out of Irish airports last weekend may have experienced some disruption as a result of industrial action at French and German Airports. If your flight was delayed or cancelled as a result of the strikes, it is important you are aware of your rights and entitlements. The Commission for Aviation Regulation has the following advice:
